About these 21 finance tools
Every calculator here answers one question: what does this actually cost, or what will it actually be worth? The loan tools work from the standard amortisation formula, so the monthly payment they return is the one a lender would quote for the same amount, rate and term.
Start with the mortgage, loan or auto loan calculator if you are borrowing, and with the investment, compound interest or retirement calculator if you are saving. The tax tools sit between the two: they take a gross figure and show what is left after it has been taxed.
None of these are advice. They are arithmetic you could do yourself with a spreadsheet, done faster and with the working shown.
